MS. GAY MAYFLOWER QUEEN 2009 BEAUTY PAGEANT

RULES AND REGULATIONS

Please read before signing application!

(Mayflower Queen Winners for 2009 are not eligible to compete in the 2010 pageant)

1. Registration must be in NO LATER than May 13, 2009 by 12 mn. (NO
Exceptions!!) to the Rainbow Community, Panapaan 2, Bacoor, Cavite 4102
2. We will not accept entry forms at the door.
3. Contestants will model in: girls-gowns-something dressy of their choice.
(Note: long gowns should touch the floor and strictly no black gowns)
4. All contestants are exempt from admission. (One on-stage helper is admitted free with participant.)
5. Refreshments will be available for purchase.
6. There will be 1 winner, 3 subtitles and a 1st runner-up.
7. The winner of each category will receive crown, sash, flower, and trophy. Any additional prizes will be announced at the pageant.
8. All contestants will receive a trophy and gift.
9. All contestants are strictly required to participate in the Flower Costume Parade. Failure to do so will mean disqualification from the contest.
10. The Mayflower Parade will be held on Friday, May 15. Line-up is at 6:00pm on Corner Street (beside Cavite School of Life HS), and the parade moves at 6:30pm.
11. Score sheets can be provided to you for the cost of Php5 per sheet. Please specify on entry form.
12. Contestants should be dressed and ready for the pageant when you arrive.
13. *Photogenic pictures will be judged by the committee, MAY 14, and must be dropped off at the Rainbow Community office with pageant application by May 13. Pictures will be returned and winners announced at the Pageant on May 15.
14. Contestants do not have to be a resident of Bacoor to participate.
15. The Pageant will be divided into 3 separate categories: Preliminary, Semifinal and Final Category.
16. Unsportsmanlike behavior will NOT be tolerated. The Director reserves the right to disqualify a contestant if behavior by the contestant, helper, or guest is deemed inappropriate.
17. One Helper may remain in the line-up area if they choose.
18. Runway Instructions: Contestants will enter at #1 on the right side facing stage; and walk to the middle of back stage #2 (full turn with pose); walk to middle front stage #3 (face judges, full turn of choice with pose); walk back to middle of back stage #2 (half turn to judges); then walk to #4 on left side of stage (turn to judges); then exit stage. THIS IS A SUGGESTION – please just have contestant use the entire stage (numbers) as much as possible. Points will NOT be taken off for not following a certain pattern. We will go over this before the pageant.
19. Winners are requested to remain at the end of each pageant for a group picture.
20. There will be a People’s Choice winner (Ms. Champaca).
